At last the three together met
Old Alfred, Dan and Bert,
To reminisce about the days
They shared a common hurt.
Each, as then, had separate views
Of what this world`s about,
And showed it well with potent force,
One this, there one night out.
Though not etched in aural glow
Of magic stars that shine,
Their honest thoughts were blended right
Like fine maturing wine
They`ve learned that sorrow conjures joy
As darkness heralds light,
They`ve learned that from enemies
Make simple hearts unite.
They know that soon they will depart,
So remember when they`ve gone
That love resides in everything,
So pass their loving on.
