The Sadness of a Fepow
by
WIN RAINER
(Wife of a Fepow)
In the silence of the night, I hear that scream
My man in sleep, and his horrendous dream
Of those far away years of torture and fear
A tormented mind, never to clear
So many memories, the agonies of mates lost
Only he knows its tremendous cost
Look into his eyes that’s where the sadness lay
Silently he passes through another day
